Shipping Policy

At Turaath Books, we take great care in packing and shipping your books safely and efficiently. With over 17 years of shipping experience, we understand the importance of proper packaging, reliable service, and getting your order to you as quickly as possible.

1. Order Processing

Orders are typically processed and prepared for shipment within 1–3 business days after payment is confirmed. Processing may take longer during sales, new releases, holidays, periods of high order volume, or other exceptional circumstances. Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking information.

2. Shipping Carriers

Turaath Books primarily ships orders using:

• USPS
• UPS
• FedEx

The carrier and service used for an order may vary depending on the destination, package size, weight, shipping cost, and other factors. Turaath Books reserves the right to select the most appropriate carrier and shipping service for each order.

3. Domestic Delivery Times

Most domestic orders within the United States are delivered approximately 1–5 business days after shipment, depending on the destination and shipping service.

Turaath Books ships from New York, so orders being delivered closer to New York will generally arrive sooner, while orders traveling across the country, such as to California and other West Coast destinations, may take approximately 5 business days.

These delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Actual delivery times are determined by the shipping carrier and may be affected by weather, holidays, service disruptions, high shipping volumes, or other circumstances outside of our control. Processing time and shipping/transit time are separate.

4. International Shipping

Turaath Books ships internationally. International shipping is handled on a case-by-case basis, and shipping rates will vary depending on the destination, package weight, dimensions, carrier, and available shipping service.

International customers may contact us at maktabahturaathbooks@gmail.com for a shipping quote or additional information regarding shipping to their country. International delivery times vary by destination and carrier and cannot be guaranteed.

Customs, Duties & Import Fees

International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, handling fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country or local authorities. These charges are not included in the purchase price or shipping charge paid to Turaath Books unless explicitly stated otherwise. The customer is responsible for any customs duties, taxes, import fees, brokerage charges, or other fees assessed on an international shipment. Turaath Books does not control these charges and cannot predict how much a particular country may charge. Customers are responsible for understanding the import requirements of their destination country before placing an order.

5. Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address when placing an order. Please carefully review your shipping information before completing checkout. Turaath Books is not responsible for delivery problems resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer. If an order is returned to us because of an incorrect or incomplete address, the customer may be responsible for any additional shipping charges required to resend the package.

6. Lost, Stolen or Delivered Packages

Once tracking shows that a package has been successfully delivered to the address provided by the customer, Turaath Books is generally not responsible for packages that are subsequently lost, misplaced, or stolen. Customers should ship orders to a secure location and monitor their tracking information.

If tracking shows that your package has not been delivered or appears to have been lost while in transit, please contact us so that we can review the shipment and assist with the appropriate carrier process when applicable.

7. Tracking Information

Tracking information will generally be provided once your order has shipped. Please allow up to 24 hours after receiving your shipping confirmation for the carrier's tracking system to display updated information. Tracking updates and estimated delivery dates shown by the carrier are controlled by the carrier and may change during transit.

8. Shipping Delays

Although we work to process and ship orders promptly, Turaath Books cannot guarantee a specific delivery date. We are not responsible for carrier delays resulting from weather, natural disasters, holidays, transportation disruptions, incorrect addresses, customs processing, government actions, or other circumstances outside of our reasonable control. For international shipments, customs clearance can cause additional delays beyond the original estimated delivery timeframe.
